NPD LTD Staff and Management with Musanze Authorities and population joined together for community works locally called UMUGANDA.
On the last Saturday of September 2017, Npd Ltd management and staff met at one of its factories located at Jabana for community works locally called UMUGANDA.
Umuganda is a Kinyarwanda word that can literally be translated as an act of working together for a common purpose… its an act of assistance and solidarity.
NPD LTD UMUGANDA AND COMMUNICATION DAY
It is in this regard that NPD ltd Staff and management came together and worked in and around the factory by doing general cleaning, cutting weeds from the main road to the factory entrance, giving a hand by storing heavy items…etc
After Umuganda, the management and staff had a communication meeting on some internal changes among others new company structure, introduction of the new Managing Director and presentation of a staff who have been promoted.
It was also an opportunity to the management to share with staff the current state of the company and the way forward to achieve the objectives foreseen for this year.
The staff shared some ideas and discussed the way to overcome the obstacles in order lead the company on success and achieve its goals.
The day ended up with inspirational songs, staff conviviality, posing for photos and staff photo souvenir.
