For a full year running, from May 2022, NPD Limited implemented the Rusizi RUDP Phase II project, marking
a significant advancement in enhancing urban infrastructure and promoting sustainable development in the
Rusizi District, in southwestern Rwanda. With borders between Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rusizi is another strategic town that is part of the secondary cities.

The project involved various components, including the construction and revitalization of crucial urban roads, the
implementation of efficient drainage systems, and the creation of pedestrian-friendly environments. Additionally, advanced
technologies were integrated to improve water management and waste disposal practices.

This comprehensive approach not only enhanced connectivity and reduced flood risks but also improved the overall
quality of life for residents by providing safer and more reliable transportation and living conditions.
